The purpose of the Foundation is the promotion of religion and international understanding, in particular the promotion of understanding between religions and the promotion of interreligious dialog.
The purpose is fulfilled in particular by
(a) supporting centers of the Sufi movement throughout the world, especially in Germany, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa
(b) the support of interreligious activities
(c) support for publications exclusively by Hazrat Inayat Khan
(d) to support the structural preservation and maintenance costs of the house "Fazal Manzil" at Rue de la Tuilerie 23, 92150 Suresnes, France, as it exists at the time of the establishment of this Foundation, as it is the former residence of Hazrat Inayat Khan, the founder of the "International Headquarters of the Sufi Movement" founded in 1923.
Non-profit
The foundation is recognized as a non-profit organization. It operates selflessly and pursues exclusively and directly charitable purposes within the meaning of the provisions of §§ 51 ff. AO. The Foundation's funds may only be used for the statutory purposes.
